This site is dedicated to my father Tom Hunt

Thomas D. Hunt, my father, found his passion for aviation early on. It didn't take long before he found himself with the Flying Tiger Line. He was 25 years old when he took his final flight aboard a Super Connie flying from LAX to Chicago, IL.

Flight #914 with the tail number N6914C.

Tom was Co-Pilot, along with Pilot Everett Reed and Engineer Brian Ferris

Sometime after midnight, the very early morning of December 15, 1965 the plane struck the western ridge of California Peak just below the summit. (NE the city of Alamosa, CO).

All 3 perished.
